The Vines at Broadmoor

Company principal, Shane Jackola, is part of the ownership group of the neighboring property to the MWest offering and the sellers of the 4.5 acres to be developed.  Due to MWest’s previous relationship developed over the time spent collaborating on


other projects, the additional acreage was offered to MWest as a development opportunity.  Although the seller group originally intended to develop as a Phase 2 to their project, the prospect of continuing to work together presented itself and MWest was able to secure a near build ready site at a very attractive price point for the market.  Additionally, MWest will be able to leverage the experience of the stakeholder group of the neighboring project, Brisa Heights, and gain from efficiencies that will benefit our offering in a multitude of disciplines.

Their primary focus lies in the design-build construction management niche, catering to both horizontal and vertical construction projects.

PEAK has experience with a multitude of project types, from commercial to single family developments, to multifamily commercial real estate.  Their experience with the project on our neighboring site, combined with relationships with multiple stakeholders that include our Architecture partner, made the decision much easier.  The experience and efficiencies they were able to gain in the build process of Brisa Heights, as well as the relationships with the contractors and vendors will have a direct impact on cost control and timeliness during the construction process of MWest’s development.

Property Management

The Management Group (TMG)

TMG, founded in 1985, has 40 years of property management experience with over 250 employees and a nearly billion-dollar portfolio of over 100 properties.  TMG is regionally focused, headquartered in Washington State with two main offices in Vancouver and Kennewick, and a third office located in Oregon serving the Portland market.  They currently manage 22 properties and have a firm presence and fantastic reputation within the Tri-Cities area.  MWest will be working directly with the President, Carmen Villarma, who not only has the asset management experience that allows her to lead a high performing property management company, but she also has a background in development and is an active multifamily investor that brings much additional value from an owner/investor perspective.

Their expertise and intimate understanding of the region provides a firm knowledge of the market and demographics that will expedite the lease-up period and yield a quicker stabilization of the property.  Additionally, their focus on resident experience, performance optimization, and additional technology driven services help to ensure future retention once stabilized.
